Description :
Founded in 1835, this place is the 3rd most significant /biggest art museum in Normandy. A permanent exhibition shows some 300 paintings and sculptures from the XVth to XIXth centuries, ceramics and crockery from XVIth to XIXth centuries. The museum offers a nice collcetion of foreign works from Fra Angelico to Murillo and French works from Clouet to Chardin and David. Finally Native Norman artits have a special place : Millet's works amoung which an exceptional of portraits, Guillaume Fouace, le Véel, Fréret.
