Discovery area of the Cotentin and Bessin marchlands. For an insight into this regional Nature park and its wealth of natural and cultural heritage, the Ponts D Ouve visitor centre near Carentan offers an exhibition and video projection (in english); The second part of the visit takes you to the Ponts d Ouve reserve itsel, access to which is either by boat or by pathway guided by arrows. The visit rounds up with the Hides viewing point which have been especially designed to show visitors the birds in their natural habitat. Leaflets and advice areavailable to visitors.
